World Turtle Day – 23 May 2021
Vilamendhoo Island is a year-round turtle hot spot with seasonal turtles nesting on the island.

Travel Tip: How to swim with the Turtles:
Look for hawksbill turtles, at the turtle reef just a 15 minutes boat ride from Vilamendhoo. Excursions are organized three days a week.
Every Thursday morning, join the half-day “Manta & Turtle excursion” on traditional Dhoni for a chance to spot both mantas and turtles.
