The local island, with an estimated population of 1,000 people, is known as the primary local island of the South Ari Atoll. Our neighbours here offer a variety of traditional, local crafts and souvenirs, as well as delicious local cuisine.
In respect of how our neighbouring local Maldivians work and live together on the island, the required dress code for the excursion is, at minimum, a short-sleeved t-shirt, knee-length shorts for women, and shorts for men.
The Dhangethi Island Excursion is scheduled every Monday and Thursday from 15:00 to 17:00.
Price: USD 45 per person; the excursion takes a minimum of 6 persons, and a maximum of 20 guests is allowed.
A parent must accompany all children under the age of 16.
